Freedom Day at NAAM

  • Northwest African American Museum 2300 South Massachusetts Street Seattle, WA, 98144 United States (map)

Experience Freedom Day at NAAM, a free monthly celebration of history, culture, and equity for all ages. On August 6 and 7, we mark the 60th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 with special Freedom Days that honor the ongoing fight for civil rights and Black civic power. Through community activities and powerful storytelling, we reflect on the past and recommit to justice for future generations.
