American Dignity: Documentary Screening and Conversation

  • Northwest African American Museum 2300 South Massachusetts Street Seattle, WA, 98144 United States (map)

Join us for a special screening of American Dignity: The Documentary, followed by a powerful community conversation.

This compelling film explores the struggles and triumphs of the civil rights era, spotlighting the courage and determination that fueled the fight for equality. After the screening, we invite you to stay for a conversation with Common Power Executive Director Charles Douglas and civil rights leader Charles Mauldin, a key figure in the Selma to Montgomery marches.

Together, they will reflect on the stories captured in the film, the legacy of the Selma Movement, and how the pursuit of dignity and justice continues to shape our lives and communities today.

Be part of this evening of film, reflection, and dialogue as we honor the past and look forward together.
