Join NAAM and local children’s author Quinn Miller Murphy for a special in-person reading of “What Did My Ancestors Eat?” - a book celebrating multiracial heritage and the cultural delicacies that come along with it.

Afterwards, join Quinn for a family reflection activity, where youth and their families can explore their own cultural heritage through food, art, and storytelling.

About the Book

What Did My Ancestors Eat? is Quinn Miller Murphy's debut board book, and follows a mixed-race, multi-ethnic child discovering the magic of family recipes and their rich cultural heritage. The book's family is modeled after her own, and illustrated gorgeously by Jillian Thalman.
