FREEDOM DAY

  • Northwest African American Museum 2300 South Massachusetts Street Seattle, WA, 98144 United States (map)

Celebrate Freedom Day at NAAM on May 16 from 10 AM to 5 PM as we honor the 60th anniversary of the Black Panther Party and its lasting impact on community empowerment, social justice, and Black liberation. This month’s Freedom Day reflects on the Party’s roots in Oakland, its historic Seattle chapter, and the survival programs that provided food, health care, legal aid, and support for communities across the country. Join us for a day of reflection, learning, and connection. Free admission for all!
