NAAM’s JUNETEENTH WEEK

The Northwest African American Museum presented Juneteenth Week, a curated week of programs that commenced on Sunday, June 12 and concluded on Juneteenth (June 19) with a Juneteenth Skate Party & Community Day. Juneteenth Week was sponsored by Amazon, Public Health-Seattle King County, Boeing, Starbucks, T-Mobile Foundation, University of Washington Department of Athletics, and 4Culture, with community partners such as the OL Reign, Sounders FC, Rave Foundation, and Roll Around Seatown, and the Blk Freedom Collective.

We are grateful to our host of enthusiastic partners, presenters, volunteers, vendors, and the generous support of major sponsor Amazon. NAAM and our community, together, advanced justice and equity, cultivated educational empowerment, and centered and celebrated Black history, art, and culture. Please join us in collectively celebrating a successful Juneteenth Week!
